Kamenoko

Made by Tokyo-based Kamenoko Tawashi, this donut-shaped scrubber is a traditional Japanese tawashi. The soft yet sturdy brush – and its eye-catching orange packaging – is a household staple in Japan. Handcrafted from durable and waterproof palm fibers, it’s ideal for cleaning cookware and vegetables such as carrots and radishes. Each long-lasting brush must pass a 20-point quality inspection before it can carry Kamenoko’s iconic turtle logo (“kame” means turtle in Japanese).
